Here is what’s included in the program of this tour
This beautiful and relaxing 4 hour tour begins with a presentation by your guide briefly outlining some history of the park and surrounding area. Once on board we will cover approximately 55 miles by water. This tour stops a Kettle Falls for a self guided stroll to the overlook and old hotel. This trip also includes an additional deboarding stop and ventures into some of the more remote areas of Voyageurs National Park. The Kettle Falls Hotel bar and restaurant are usually open to serve you and the dam overlook is historic and a good photo opportunity. In the event food is not available in the hotel I encourage guests to have a backup plan. Guests are always welcome to bring a picnic, snacks and beverages on board and there are picnic tables at all stops. Visitors often enjoy their visit to Kettle Falls so much they are reluctant to leave for the return trip home. For those interested in photography, this tour offers some great opportunities. This is a rain or shine trip so please dress accordingly. Also please note that facility stops are approximately an hour apart and although we flirt with the Canadian border for several miles on this tour a passport is not necessary.
