Here is what’s included in the program of this tour
This 3 hour trip departs at 7am from the Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center and exposes guests to the most scenic parts of Voyageurs National Park at our most affordable price. An early morning departure assures us the best chance for smooth water and also the best lighting for photos.
Much of this 45 mile boat tour will be spent sightseeing with your guide narrating along the way. There are float by stops at Tar Point outbound and I.W. Stevens Resort on our return trip.
For several miles we straddle the US/Canadian border passing through Squaw Narrows before turning east near Mica Island then slicing through Squirrell Narrows. We then deboard at our featured attraction, Kettle Falls Hotel and Overlook.
After reboarding, we will enter the main part of Namakan Lake past Torey's fish camp on Kubel Island, zip through Blind Indian Narrows, pass by Kabetogama Narrows and the Ash River Visitor Center before making our way home.
This is a fun trip that many locals enjoy numerous times during the summer and fall. This is a rain or shine trip so please dress accordingly. Also please note that facilities are less than 1 hour apart and although we flirt with the Canadian border for several miles on this tour a passport is not necessary.
